Restoring Leather Color

Even Batman's leather suit can fade. So how do you restore the color of leather? Our short answer is, bring it to a professional. Some websites tell you to use alcohol to clean the area first and then apply layers of leather coloring until you get the right amount. To be honest this is a very delicate process. Putting too much alcohol will discolor your leather even more. Applying the wrong leather coloring may cause permanent stains. Applying too much pigment can also ruin the material. Sometimes trying to save a few dollars doing things yourself can be more expensive. Please save yourself the trouble and let us do it for you. |
