Save Your Wet Leather Jacket
What
do you do if your leather garment gets soaking wet? The first thing you
should do is, RELAX because it can still be saved. Then hang the garment
on a hanger (preferably using a strong wooden hanger) in room temperature.
Depending on how soaked your garment is, it may take a day or two to dry. Make sure the garment is dry then put it in your home dryer. Set it at “air dry cycle” & tumble dry for about 20 minutes along with some other old garments until it becomes dried completely.
If you see any spots as a result of water damage that will take a little more expertise. You should call us up and have it cleaned professionally.
